Power Construction & Project Management (Power CPM) is a project and construction management firm registered in Maryland and Washington, DC. It offers a complete array of management services and options that will serve a project in its entirety from conception to completion, commissioning and close out or through the owner’s stated specific needs.

We specialize in the Electrical Utilities industry, specifically power substations, transmission and distribution systems, electric utility infrastructure and solar generation farms.

Katherine Charlotten is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Power Construction & Project Management. She is responsible for the business administration including leading the firm towards accomplishing its goals, determining the scope of operations, is in charge of human resources, accounts, and marketing.

Katherine was managing partner at Power Engineering, a construction management and electrical supplier firm located in Silver Spring, Maryland carrying out federal government contracts valued at over USD 20 million. She procured all the electrical materials used in the Pentagon Renovation Program (PENREN) by national electrical design-build and systems integration firm M.C. Dean. She was responsible for accounts, billing, and procuring materials; and also evaluated contracts with suppliers and federal and corporate clients.

Alberto Ramos, PE, PMP, CCM, is Co-Founder of the firm and Operations Manager with over 36 years of experience managing complex construction projects from conception to final completion. He has managed multiple projects with a collective value of more than $1.6 billion. His experience includes working as an Electrical/General Contractor and Owner’s Representative in the construction of solar generation farms and electric utilities infrastructure. Alberto has also managed commercial, residential, correctional, educational and government projects.

Alberto is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, California, and Puerto Rico. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute and as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) by the Construction Management Association of America.
